The Poets: 5 Great Poetic Lines
A list of 5 great poetic lines is one that could change everyday. Sometimes a certain line will strike you more one day and less so another - it depends on your mood and circumstances. However, there are some lines that just grab a hold of you and never let go. Whenever you think of these lines or reread the poems that contain them they still send shivers or warm feelings up and down your spine. The following are five lines that I consider great, from poems I have read in my life. They speak to me and are ones that are forever lodged in my memory. If you love poetry, make up your own list of your top five lines. You’ll find it’s an exercise in discovering what poetry does for you and how words can communicate in a special way.
